Conscious for several reasons. Another one being that Consciousness requires seamlessly interacting, flowing matter. Biology embodies Mechanism thoroughly and is constantly being moulded and shaped by it. Machines are fixed structures. They don’t interact or morph. Contrast that with biology which changes indefinitely. What does this say about inorganic matter? Consciousness isn’t fixed. That’s a perceptual error that we perceive everything as fixed and objective. Perception itself is fixed so it’s inaccurate to even think that we can perceive any other way. Is our perception seamless? I use the words in my limited vocabulary repeatedly for categorizing and understanding so that when I do increase vocabulary, I’ll have the capacity to build on that understanding.
